what i have learnt is gukesh strength is not playing engine moves. he play a questionable move which you might think like what is this guy doing? but as soon as you close the engine you would see how practical those moves are. he demands his opponent to be precise till the end. that's the gamble he plays. almost got beaten by anish but as i said anish had to be accurate till the last movement. same with nodirek. it refreshing to see a guy playing weirds moves. i like positional masterpiece once in awhile but i like this much more.

Many fellow Chess players thinks Gukesh is always lucky so my reply: Seeing as spectator we may have assistance of engine to see the best move but we realise later that opponent is a human, suffering time pressure , complicated position, fear of loosing and there's Gukesh questionable moves. Its so hard to predict what Gukesh is thinking sometimes.Gukesh's style is how much a human can calculate. If he play against stockfish or "maybe" Magnus Carlsen no doubt he may loose but when against other humans the opponent will have hard time thinking and collapse as result in game.

Gukesh will be 21 in next WCC ...and if magnus comes back remember his WCC match against fabi all 14 games were draw no wins for Magnus. And as we witness how Gukesh really squesh milk from stones in classical and at the age of 21 he will wipe out magnus. It will be a humiliating loss for Magnus and he knows that so there is no way he is gonna come back. He wants to go down as undefeated without any challenge for new champions of chess. That's just self bullshitting behavior
@FahimHoq9 сағат бұрын
Magnus no longer has the motivation. He even shared the blitz trophy with Nepo instead of trying to win. So it's highly unlikely he returns. And even if he does, it's unlikely he is the player he once was, as he hardly plays classical these days, so he probably wouldn't be able to defeat Gukesh. Gukesh is now the true world champion now, not Magnus.

I do understand making use of mistakes opponents make is part of chess, and I do know it can be very unjust. I saw two games of Gukesh, for 1.5 points, all of them made possible by opponents inaccuracies during time scramble, he was completely losing both games. and should have gotten 0 points for these games. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to lead, but he could easily have been a 6 points instead of 7.5.

See that's the thing. When you look at the evaluation bar, all see the best moves acc to stockfish and none of them ( or atleast most of the times, most of them) are some absurd pawn pushed which only makes sense to computer. But these are humans. Chess bots have seriously restricted people's ability to appreciate good chess because a BOT has memorised billions of games off the data base and it tells you it's a winning move. You think all the games played by vishy and carlsen and kasparov were winning throughout or did they play an unusual sequence of moves putting the opponent into think mode , thus creating a tension and pressure and forcing the opp to blunder. Think abtit

Even if u watch magnus games it is highly inaccurate according to engines

It appears that you don't seem to have much idea of chess (especially high ELO chess). You don't learn chess looking at engine moves as a human cannot predict those moves at all most of the time. An engine predicts hundreds of move ahead. Even a high rated player can maybe see 10-20 moves at max, considering the player has time. High ELO chess works very differently. You can be +2 ahead and have only one right move in your turn to maintain your advantage, any other move (even the 2nd best engine move) might take you from +2 to -3 sometimes). Say, if you are +1 playing as white and you are close to middle game. If you let the engine take over as black from that point; you will definitely lose to the engine. The engine will make that +1 advantage of yours disappear by the time you reach the end game. Try watching and analysing some super GM level games and you will get what I am trying to say.

We use telekinesis to contemplate the threshold of material exchange for compensation of Chess game. Your guess my elo....I guess your's. We both become stronger and use the connection of brain receptors to understand "the move".

Nodirbek > Gukesh tbh Even had a completely winning position against Gukesh this tournament but mixed up the move order and lost his advantage in time trouble.

Then ultimately it proves Gukesh > Nodirbek 😂

@@ChristopherBittihe is right if nodirbek is better then why he is not a world champion and world no 6 where gukesh is world no 5 .gukesh defense was simply greater than nodirbek's attack why you are not accepting it?

@@SoumikRoy-t3m LOL. Gukesh got bailed out by time trouble, that's it. You're just insecure like the rest. If you were so confident Gukesh is clear of Nodirbek as a player, you wouldn't even pay attention to my comment. Imagine thinking rank 5 versus rank 6 determines that Gukesh is better lmao. Hikaru even said that Gukesh will probably dominate for a while after the WCC because he has a plethora of prep left over. Even with that Gukesh got outplayed by Nodirbek and was lucky to survive lmao.

@@ChristopherBitti Then bring your Higher than Average IQ reasoning in the statement you made above, and prove me wrong ! 😂 Obviously you can't because you can't bear an "Indian" becoming a World Champion, that certainly proves your shitty mindset.. Nodirbek is a brilliant player, but what makes Gukesh better than him, is he plays human-like positionally very good moves till the end which questions the opponent's calculation, he grinds the opponent up to the very end ! That is where the opponent makes a mistake, and Gukesh capitalises on it.. Magnus also does the same, he just grinds till the very end, and when Magnus does it, guys like you tell it's Genius, but when Guki does it, you say it's "luck" ! Even the crocodiles would be ashamed of your hypocritical tears ! 😂
