My grandma used to collect rocks from everywhere she traveled. Some of what she found would be considered semiprecious stones. She had a knack for finding amethyst and pyrite. So glad to see Gul Sher Khan enjoying some gifts.

I've been tempted to send him a few stones from my home state; the Petoskey and some Yooperlite. But they aren't gem stones so I've no idea if he would enjoy them as much. Petoskeys are fossilized coral found around Michigan. Yooperlite is a stone that has Sodalite mixed in with it from the glaciers that dug out the Great Lakes. When a black light shines on it the rock glows yellow

Send them! If he loves gemstones that much, it's for their beauty, not their value. Plus stones from another part of the world would let him see some of the local bones of the earth. I found myself thinking of our state gem, the Oregon Sunstone; and our state rock, the Thunderegg (a completely filled geode). I'd love to send him some of those. One of my online friends from Denmark sent me some real Baltic amber chips once, and those are precious to me. Neat rocks are neat rocks. ;)

Word for word translation most of the times fails to convey the meaning the individual wants to; so they take the meaning and translate it that way. I am from africa and i use to translate for my father; and. Word for word translation always becomes confusing and misleading. So i distill the meaning and translate it.
