Sudha tells her mother-in-law that she is being clumsy since morning. Raman confronts Matoba and tells him that he is the right person to be the head of the panchayat. Kesar is angry with Gulaal for supporting Dushyant, and starts throwing stones in the pond. Dushyant wants to back out of the Panchayat elections but his mother persuades and encourages him to continue. He tells her that he does not want to compete with his own brother Raman in an election. Kesar sees Gulaal speaking to Sudha and contemplates about Gulaal's strong words in the panchayat meeting. Gulaal and Talli console Sudha. Gulaal's mother is shocked to hear that her daughter refused to become the Sarpanch of the village.
