Gulabo Rani Official Short Film

Gulabo Rani is an Internationally acclaimed short film about a young boy, Akhtar, is accepted into a 150 year old university and due to an administrative fluke, he finds himself housed in the dilapidated "Wing C" of the dorms. During his initial interactions with students, he becomes aware of the stories of haunting and despair that are associated with the long abandoned wing. Not believing in the paranormal, he is initially unbothered by the increasingly strange occurrences that start to take place around him but later on is forced to doubt his convictions. Akhtar also becomes the target of mockery, ridicule and bullying by some of his peers, adding to his psychological distress. Tormented and alone, he finds himself face to face with a horror far greater than he could have ever imagined.

Here is my review: At the start it felt very interesting and raised my expectations but after few minutes I realized that story is very slow paced, i think if makers were trying to increase viewers curiosity for "what would happen next" then in my humble opinion it didn't work and felt boring. After 15 minutes it seemed like not much interesting is happening in the story. The movie could have been catchy if much more twists and turns were happening every after few moments. this is 36 minutes movie and the first demon appearance was after 27 minutes, that is 70% movie is just nothing to be scared about. Cinematography is good and color grading is very good, locations is also better. and for the image quality: although it has been uploaded in 4K but the true image quality is no way nearer what actual 4K resolution can offer. (could be youtube rendering issue though).

Oh my god. Amazing.i organized the gulabo rani in 4 portions to help my mind lol . 1) introduction with other people and bullied by those 3 guys 2) he did see certain things in the day time after he was bullied 4) those 3 guys met gulabo rani in his room before he met her. .. 3) in the end those last night scenes happened where he met that chuirail considering he was wearing orange shirt throughout.that churail sitting infront of him could be his imagination or her sitting in real

Nice movie good work this shot in Govt. Muslim Higher Secondary School I recogonize with the tree in the background in the starting of this short film and I use to go there in 2nd year of my college its also a school this place is hunted and I know for sure we heard a lot of stories or kaha jata hay ya asghar mall road areas under jo ghr bana thay wo pahlay qabristan uw krta tha before partition if you really want to hear story about one of the house which I live in nana nani ghr tha hamray I would love to share one of my story with your and this areas Muslim school/ college is hunted as well also the dgree college near to this place scheme 3 people live there all of them i believe have stories to share because I lived there for 10 years
