Loved this series, It was very emotional the actors did a wonderful job drawing in the viewers. The last episode had me in tears, I was truly glad that the Mother in the series finally came around and expressed her love for her Son, but it truly at times was hard to watch, the Mother seemed to have no Motherly feelings for the beautiful children she left behind ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Every Turkish series has the same type of scenario. An extremely headstrong, combative woman who spends all the time crying and fighting the male actor, who is madly in love with her...their anger never ceases and they are always unreasonable and unforgiving. It gets tiring....are Turkish women like this? Bride of Istanbul, Afili aṣk, mrs fazilet and her daughters...all of them have very over-erratic lead women.... always proving stubborn and unyielding.

Something else Turkish series have in common…Domestic violence, abuse, captivity, g/rape, that all somehow leads to a fabulous love story! These women fight against all the cruelty! They’re intelligent, strong & fearless. The women usually have a high moral ground, that the men could only dream of. I applaud & respect Turkish women who have this strength. I’m also ashamed of the writers always portraying women as weak. Do better writers, represent Turkish with dignity & pride.

Watch tr. series called Love is in the Air (Eda&Serkan), Early Bird (Erkenci Kuş) for example. Not all are the same, it depends on what you choose and you chose drama series. Tr. drama is indeed dramatic :D But you can find also lighter series like those mentioned.
