After not playing in a band since high school, i felt like getting back into it. I'm fucking 41, but this band (Gulch), and especially this drummer (Sammy Ciaramitaro), got me so fired up that I was compelled find a way to get that feeling back, the satisfaction of processing trauma by brutalizing a drum set and rocking sick breakdowns. Anyway my new band had our first gig last night and after I felt like I could've kicked my high school self's ass
