@@nicolasbaldeyrou1 Nicolas, you are one of my favourite clarinet players. And no doubt one of the best in the world. And joinning this with you comment about ideas, how about some tutorials? I know that you have your masterclasses, but how about some tecnical explanations or advices, that would be usefull either to beginners or to professionals. I'm going to kick this idea off: you play with bd4, but what kind of reed? And why? Another one: what setup for success in double tonging? There are a lot of tutorials, but i never found one that talked about the setup (mouthpiece, reeds)? My double tonging is terrible, but im not a professional clarinet player, and don't play 40 hours a day like you! But i love the clarinet!!! Well, some times simple things can make a lot of difference, and simple advices can change ones performance a lot. I loved this video. Your work, the audience you filmed, the indian woman (i think) dancing. Very very good!!!

It’s another Absolute Classic! This goes in my favorites list alongside your Summer (Vivaldi), Miserlou, and Monti Czardas covers! I have a question, maestro. I have three conservatory auditions coming up, and I am struggling with lining up my fingers and tongue for the cadenza of Copland Clarinet Concerto at faster tempos, so I’m curious, do you have any go-to exercises for practicing lining up the tongue and fingers as well as developing quick articulations? Thank you!!!!

Hard to give quick tips for the such a big subject but to resume, the key is to blow in the staccato like if you were playing a cantabile legato like, if you don’t have enough speed of air, the fingers won’t synchronise, then use the right staccato, the tip of the tongue on the tip of the reed and tongue gently, avoid the pronouncing a T but rather a TH of D, and last subdivide all the fast rhythms in your head! Keep the control (I think of each quarter note, so 2 by 2 in the cadenza) practice well 💪🏻
