Quality control and pride in craftsmanship has changed since Covid. We bought a 2021 Innsbruck 16re and it feels like it was put together by a kindergartener. The finishing touches are sloppy, we had it in several times the first summer,. The doors on the cabinets were warped, when we got it, but they think it's fine and nothing was done. And of course 13 months after we bought it, the skin at the tongue side separated and it was out of warranty. While I love my camper I'm sure more things will fall apart now that it's out of warranty.

I bought a 2020 in July and can only complain about the construction quality. Crooked parts in the cabinets, staples out in the cabinets sticking up 1/4", the dvd3000 not working, leaks in plumbing, stove falling apart, shades installed improper. I know "warranty"but having to take it back to the dealer multiple times is not fun. When I did construction in the 70s these things would have not been sean by the customer let a lone by anyone after delivery of the product. I know most all RVs are made in factories owned by the same company but the competition should be who puts out the best product not the quickest.

Anyone have any stories about there newer Ameri-Lite 279BH. We purchased our 2022 Gulfstream Ameri-Lite 279BH in August 2021. My wife and I are new to this and we have taken it out a few times now with our kids and are learning new things each time. Got it home and when setting up we found a few minor things that needed to be fixed. Took to service center to repair the small things. We went to pick it up the following Tuesday and the small repairs were fixed and drove it home. Took for small repairs so that’s all I checked. Side note: That weekend while at service center a ‘hurricane’ came thru. Got it home and opened it up for the first time. After looking over the camper I noticed water droplets on the new mattresses (still in plastic).further inspection and the check above our bed also had water droplets and the right master closet side was soaked. All the wood paneling inside and outside the closet was soaked. The bunk over outdoor kitchen was also soaked, but only around small section around the window. So back to the service center it went. Owning it less than a week, they had it longer than I have. After a few days they said they water tested it and supposedly re-caulked it. I was informed that in a few months, the caulking will no longer be covered because that’s regular owner maintenance. We have used the camper several times since the first issue and have regularly checked after thunderstorm and torrential downpours. Since then we haven’t had any issues until last night. Our first time staying at a RV park in Birmingham, AL and weather was calling for rain and cold weather. After about an hour of light-to-steady rain, i started hearing a drip. I look up into the same area and sure enough leaking in multiple areas. On the master shelf, right master closet and now also on the floor of the right side of the master. I’m now going to investigate further and try to find a remedy. Thinking of recaulking the entire camper, expanding foam and eventually using clear flex seal on the entire camper. In August after reporting to Dealer and Gulfstream, my financing company was behind me 100% that a new camper shouldn’t be leaking at all.

Cara means low quality fiberglas build.. try bumperpull trailers with camper , toy+livingroom trailers or residential coach inside

What I get from watching this is the employees work at such a frantic pace that quality can NOT be assured. Nobody seems to be taking any time to be careful or thoughtful. The guy welding frames never checked his work. “Slap-dash” is probably the best descriptor of the work on display here.

We bought this awesome tt from dealer in conroe tx. Loved it, it's beautiful and has plenty of room. It wasn't long and we had to take it back. Problems range from a to z. We gave them an unusually long list. After the fact more problems keep brewing. Plumbing leaks, shower leaks, ceiling screws missed the bracing. The fridge won't run on propane, propane leaks that we can't find, improper sealing on the roof and sides. Awning motor problems, caulking in the bathroom was not complete, we had to replace the jack due to poor quality, the scissor jacks are very light weight and poor quality. The toilet valve went out prematurely. There's simply too much to list. The dealer dropped this brand. Good luck in getting resolve if you have problems with this brand. I simply gave up. This is my third trailer and never have I seen quality this poor. Also note, the plumbing is routed just above the cheap tarp like material / underbelly. If u blow a tire, it rips out the plumbing. Also, the floors are not quality plywood, they use cheap osb type chipboard. The insulation appears to be below standard. The back bedroom is very difficult to cool. I totally regret buying this brand.

Have you heard of the Manhattan travel trailers that Fema had? I bought one years ago and now want to learn about the wiring and so forth. I haven't been able to fund anything online.

I talked to Mike Ward at the company and he talked down to me as if he didn't have time for complaints. Never again.

To Gulfstream: Too many humans doing the work robots should be doing- this is why gulfstream gets a bad rap- building with precision is what makes a company stand out.- precision isn't just measuring it's called using good parts. This is all to save money (humans measuring LOL)- employees can still be employed to operate the machines, spend some money and automate your business to offer some QC on your products. When was the last time you saw an automobile manufacturer making their own parts by hand measuring??? 1960??? Want some proof , ff to 9:11 in the video, watch the cut- that's not precision.
