It's mostly the interior of jets that age so makes a lot of sense to refurbish. Not sure about the porthole frames. It clashes with the sophistication of a high end plane. I would redo the uneven wall panels as well.

Hold on a tic. Vinyl wraps and fake carbon fiber on a $10m jet? IMO it looked way better before the refurbishment.

@@khunopie9159 No need to attack someone. @2:49 the look at the warping above the windows. @5:25 the panels after the windows don't connect seamless. This is a tacky interior.

If you don’t know,everything on the interior of the airplane has to get fired tested and making new parts in full carbon fiber will be really expensive and the will put the aircraft down for a much longer period of time the some customers don’t have and after all of the airplane has to get weight and balance and the amount of of hours it takes to get all of this done is insane and just the outside paint is about 1800 hours of labor

The design is good but the cabinets look not great. Even on film you can tell the gaps between the doors and drawers are uneven. And vinyl wrap? Why not real wood veneer and hardwood edging? I used to build and veneer cabinets in Globals for 3 years. We'd get the gaps even within .02". I've got a cabinet shop in SLC if you ever want to subcontract some work to me.

I know the Jets performance is at an all time high with the new interior materals vs the old. And I bet the owner saved a ton on this refurbishment. Some refurbishments can be up too $3m, depending on the clients taste. The old 90s interior look was cozy, but it was seriously outdated.

The vinyl color on the drawers just doesn't really go well with the countertops and the green chairs. I think if it the color was a little more matte it would've been better.

Why couldn't they refinish the original wood surfaces? They looked wonderful. The faux carbon fiber can be applied to a particle-board kitchen countertop in a mobile home, not a business jet. Wall panels are crooked. The faux wood covering is again meant for a cheap MDF kitchen countertop in a subsidized apartment. The porthole windows are meant for a treehouse project, in a weekend project for your kids. Horrible..... No words.....Are these people for real?

Everyone fantasizes about being on a private jet until they actually walk into one. Then, they realize it's just another machine. Life is about experiences, not things. Private jets serve three purposes for people who have the money. A tax writeoff for the business, a statement piece for conferences to show the success of the company, and a time saving tool. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly perks to being wealthy, but money definitely is NOT everything.

i like the new color concept. not a big fan of fake wood. Why didnt you use wood veneer? Overall i would prefeer the old interior, it had such an oldschool classy feeling. But still a great job!

I thought the old interior was the refurbished version. I actually prefer that; it's brighter than the new one, though the new one was done excellently as well.

The dark color selection seems very odd to me and tend to make the cabin look smaller. The windows treatment which imitates a boat porthole is just awful. I flew Gulfstreams for over 30 years this interior in my opinion seems like it was designed by the wife of the owner!

That's gorgeous. Really works with the exterior color way. I prefer lighter interiors, but this is a show piece and pause for thought. Well done. I hope the hydro finishes stand up over time.

for wrapping, and flooring. Not even close brother. They didn't replace any panels that didn't line lined up, and many didn't.

Way too dark and "fussy". The window surrounds make the windows appear smaller and are extremely "busy" looking. Vinyl wrap on the wood cabinets? The dark pea-soup green color is downright hideous. I am sorry, but the whole thing looks extremely amateurish, IMHO.
