Pro tip #1, don't use Aqaurion. Pro tip #2, dragons are very vulnerable over lakes and oceans if you have battleships or catapults in the area

For Tribe Info: Xin Xi: Access Philosophy/Smithery Can See More Structures like Ruins And Village. Imperius: Access Farming/Shield Production Every fruit significantly increase population to increase growth. Bardur: Access Mathematics/Archery Same as imperius, but can chop down trees to increase stars or, adds population by placing lumber hut. Oumaji: Access Trade/Chilvary Can Capture/Find Structures Faster Than Any Tribes. Kickoo: Access: Navigation/Aquatism Can Attack Early On Water, And Increase Population of their village. Hoodrick: Access Forestry/Hunting Can Attack Enemies in Range in order to not get attack after... My strat if you spawn in an island, get math. Spam a few catapults, and defenders, and wish things would get well. You probably already know this tho

Catapults are used to defend, and if you have to defend in Polytopia there's a good chance you've already lost

Well yes, but while your spending your star production on mathematics and catapults, your enemy has conquered the rest of the map. What would of been wise to do in this game is to play mega aggressively and try to take as much as the map as you can so you can get the jump on your opponent

You should have had catapults going. So all naval units around your island are not an issue and any warriors close to the water would also be gone
