They were very successful in west punjab also.dont know about gulzar sir.most of sikh n hindu punjabis owned 80 percent property in lahore.same in sialkot gujranwala rawalpindi etc.some were even helped my muslim families there.sir ganga ram a punjabi from sheierpuria punjab was known as father of modern archtecture.did huge development there.most punjabis be it khatris aroras jains n even punjabi aggarwals were doing gud there.they were mostly merchants.yes they r doing wrll here also.n that time it was india only.its wrong to say pakistan se aaye log.politicians never did gud to neone.
