This same type of situation is going in A serial called Dhruvtara (sony sab) But the biggest difference is the male lead (dhruv) unlike Virat did not force his ex lover into marrying his brother instead he told her that he has moved on in life and if she doesn't love her husband (Dhruv's brother) she is free to divorce him and move on in life. And he also mentions that he won't let his brother stay in a marriage where his wife loves another man. Samrat is no doubt very good. But Pakhi was also not a villan. She was also kind of betrayed in love and she was very depressed that she had to marry the brother of her love and her love marrying someone else. Samrat shouldn't have left Pakhi the next day of their marriage. If he had stayed then maybe they could develop love between them and maybe Pakhi would not have been potrayed as the villan. The only fault of Samrat is this. Otherwise he is very nice. PS : I am not a regular viewer of this serial but I am updated with the plot, storyline and events. So what I feel is this. I might have missed some parts but according to what I know this is my opinion.

Honestly pakhi and Virat Missed their timings....when pakhi said yes to her marriage with samrat neither did she or Virat know who the groom was..Virat came during the middle of the wedding preps...here both Virat and pakhi are at fault Virat should have cleared pakhi mind about his intentions and feelings of her but he did not do that and gave a mixed feeling which confused her and gave a stupid promise which further added to her obsession. Pakhi was more at fault if she loved Virat that much she should have not said yes to the wedding at first place...even after she knew Virat was samrats brother she should have either stopped the wedding completely or accept the wedding and should have started her life with samrat but her intentions to marry samrat itself was that she could be close to Virat which is absolutely stupid and infidel in a way
