What you see here is a crazy tuned 900HP Opel Kadett GSI 16V Turbo in action on the dragstrip. During the RACE1000 drag race event, it did some head tot head drag races against a 1200HP McLaren 720S and a Dodge Challenger. Enjoy the video!

I drove one basic model used Opel Kadett with minimum accessories during my three year stay in Germany in the late 90s. It was an absolute beauty, fast, stable, smooth and much more. Later on I drove Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans and Suzukis and none could even touch the dust of Opel Kadett. A fantastic car by all means. True German engineering!

Hola ese kadett es brutal sueperrapido❤❤❤😮😮😮😂 tengo un vectra 2.0i y la verdad que andan muy bien. Los opel en los 80 - 90 en motores gasolina eran fiables rápidos increíbles el nuestro es de 1994

That Opel was sold in the US as a Pontiac Le Man's. They were garbage cars. Germany must have kept all the good parts for themselves...❤🤣🤣🤣

The Le Mans was a Kadett model, but it was not manufactured by Opel but by Daewoo in Korea, therefore it was not very good. And the engines were not the same either, in Opel there was 150 hp in an extremely... advanced... engine, or in 1988, 156 hp and the most common was 115, Daewoo /Pontiac delivered a maximum of 96 hp in an old engine. In 1991-92 Opel had both ABS and power steering. And it was available as a cabriolet, manufactured by the Italian coachbuilder Bertone, with electric folding in the last year.

Die ersten drei oder vier Gänge ist er damit beschäftigt, den Motor im Begrenzer laufen zu lassen. Da geht noch mehr, wenn er rechtzeitig schaltet.

In Britain it's called a Astra gte 16v I've had a few all fast standard but chipped and mapped are rockets.nicked loads in the 90s police could never catch us was perfect for ramraids miss these cars🏎️💨💨💨🚓

likely an opc gearbox along with opc engine, the only kaddet thing in this car is the chassis/body since the engine here is from an opc..

yes its fully stock. out of a 1.6 D with 54 hp- these are way faster then al the porsches and ferraris. all stock

Calibra 4x4 Turbo goes to 245 kmh. Probably a older red top 16v engine modified with crazy boost. Gearbox still has to fit to that engine with a adapter plate or so. The 1.5 Isuzu turbodiesel had 68 hp btw..
