Scott Porter was one of the original members of my favorite acapella group Voiceplay. When they founded the group it was 4:2: Five. Scott was their beatboxer. When Scott left in 20003 for a very successful acting career Layne Stein took over the beatboxing. He was baritone then. They changed to Voiceplay in 2010. Scott has been in several amazing sitcoms over the years. Including Friday The Night Lights and Lucifer.

Scott has a great voice, I think he should have won. As others have said, he was with Voiceplay from the beginning, then left for a very successful year in Hollywood. I don't know if he had help from them in the arrangements, but he sang several songs that they've done. They didn't say that they thought it was him until the last day, so ya never know. Great reaction to this, I really enjoyed it! I know you've moved on from reactions, but I sure miss them.

You should check out Gumball’s beatboxing/vocals in Voiceplay’s songs “Just sing” and “the Halo Theme” also he sings in the show hart of Dixie. He’s got a great voice.
