Gumby and the band perform at a skateboard rally, but first Gumby needs to pick up his new skateboard and stop for a power shake. As the band enjoy their drinks the Blockheads steal Gumbys skateboard.

I heard that they DID use MIDI music when scoring these 80s episodes. Impressive for its' time, but nowadays it sounds pretty cheesy compared to newer MIDI soundfonts and such.

Wow. Those blockheads were really showing some impressive strategy when they were trying to force gumby to go into the Founding Fathers book world. We also know that some objects don't make the transition from one world to the next because of that episode where Gumby's sister gets lost in china town and leaves behind her bowtie. So Gumby would either be lost in the book for a few minutes while the blockheads got away or his car would be crushed and end up blocking the exit from the book.

Since they tried to tip it over on him and Prickle they'd be stuck in the book because the floor would be blocking the exit with the book tipped over. I've seen the car go in books many times. The Blockheads on the other hand can only go in books if they cut a hole in the cover which is why they probably didn't try to hide in one.
