I remember watching this as a kid & getting scared, then watching Gumby hatch from the egg made me think - weird. So getting eaten leads to becoming a dinosaur egg I thought😂

I bet this would have scared me if I was younger, but I'm glad I didn't! Watching it as an adult, I have to state how amazing the animation is for the Tyrannosaurus! How it emerges from the book is so clever and vastly impressed that this is stop-motion animation! It's even a nice touch that the image of the beast disappears from the book! My compliments to the animators! Also, I like how Gumby only awakened once he was in the garbage truck. Most people would snap out of their rest during the part a dinosaur eats you.

I remember watching this episode when it was aired and thinking how weird it was lol. I watched Jurassic Park thinking that the Dinosaur's eat people so that they could lay them in eggs.

ChaoticPøchi Aw, They are great in both Movies & Shows. When I mean "They" I mean the Dinosaurs. Weather they are Cartoon characters, Stop Motion puppets, Rod puppets, Reptiles in artificial part costumes, Guys in Rubber suits, Animatronics & most of all CGI AKA Computer Generated Imagery for both Animated & Live Action Films & Shows. Like Stop Motion Animation years before.
