For those who don't know, this isn't about a robot who has to carry their own limbs. It's actually about mental illness, a select group of people who struggle with it and still carry on anyways. They are people "too backwards to die out," meaning the reason they continue to exist is because our society is hateful and unwilling to understand people who are different, so that breeds sadness and mental illness. I come back to this song a lot, and I find myself carrying on out of spite 😅

@jango201246 жыл бұрын
For this chicken casserole you will need simple ingredients 2 cups dried pasta sour cream salsa garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin can of corn can of black beans cheese Cook the pasta according to the package directions. While it’s cooking mix the salsa, sour cream, and spices in a large mixing bowl. Add the drained and warm pasta into the sour cream mix and stir together. Add in the corn, black beans, chicken, and 1 cup of the cheese. Give it a good stir and then spread into a 9×13 casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Cover with tin foil and let it bake. I love to top this casserole with chopped tomato, green onion or cilantro, and avocado slices.

This song sounds so sad and yet so triumphant. Like this person is falling to pieces and things keep getting replaced to the point where it’s like the paradoxical ship-if parts keep getting replaced, is it still the same ship, or in this case, still the same person? It’s very sad that they’re so different from how they once were, but at the same time they’re still chugging along, in spite of everything that tried to tear them apart into nothing. Am I projecting? Yeah. Should I be asleep? Yeah.

I honestly just realized that this song (which I believe is actually about a made up illness based on the unfinished video of it) actually also sounds like a decent representation of discrimination. People rising up against it and people hating it and possibly even going so far as to commit hate crimes. It’s revisited multiple times as multiple different things were and are discriminated against. Like you race/skin tone or your sexuality.

This comment's for me! [Verse 1: YOHIOloid] Inside their little world They tried to be understood But all that came of it was a mess So sort it out in conversations Devout apparitions Would say they're horrid nonetheless [Chorus: YOHIOloid] Once more, their heads are caving in There's a window that jarred on their conscience Once more, they've left remembering To the people that picked up their arms and legs And carried on [Verse 2: Gumi] They pulled apart their own ego at the seams And spilled their organs everywhere Caught in polarized degrees They may decay again, so beware These are people too backwards to die out They may never escape from the rise, now They may never come back [Verse 3: YOHIOloid] Crumbling still Their little world rebuilt What couldn't be endured Now, there's nothing left to go to waste So sort it out with new perspectives Reused and defective They challenged odds face-to-face [Chorus: Gumi] Once more, their head had caved in And the past lingered nearby a locked door Once more, they had revisited Something over and over and over again And carried on [Verse 4: Gumi] So, after all these years They remained a form of art 'Cus they had problems from the start Though they acted on a dare There's nothing stopping them, so beware These are people too fearless to die out Though they'll never escape from the rise Now... [Outro: Gumi] You'd say that things have improved... Right? You'd say that things have improved! Right?

Once again, I very good beat in the song. It's wonderfully catchy!, though I must say with fair criticism that some of the words sung in the song, like "and" or "it" are very hard or simply not heard at all (this is just for future reference! I really like the song I just thought I'd give you my opinion and what I think good be improved, since fair criticism is never bad) All in all another good song from a great artist.
@kidamorgenstern59246 жыл бұрын
I forgot to add that the art piece in the song is also really good! I like that you went with monochrome for some and yellow for other parts of the piece. its and interesting contrast, I also just think the person looks cute. Robot arms can be hard to draw (or just normal hands) You did well!

I can't explain how much I love this song, especially the instrumentals here: reversed sounds, the drums, loud bassline, that's just fire! The sound of it kinda reminds me of "Revolver" and I find it amazing! Good job Ghost, you made a great song.
@baconman17784 жыл бұрын
Such a beautifully made song... This is a perfect example of why you are one the artists I look to for inspiration. The music, the meanings behind it, and the incredible pictures that match the songs you make so well, it's truly something to marvel. I understand if you do not believe these compliments about yourself, (I remember you mentioning in the description of one of your songs that you have low self esteem and imposter syndrome), but I just thought it'd be fair to acknowledge your talent. I hope you live a long, prosperous life, and continue inspiring others to create their own stories and music.

no one else did it yet so, lyrics! Inside their little world, they tried to be understood but all that came out of it was a mess So sort it out in conversations Devout apparitions would say they're horrid nonetheless Once more, their heads are caving in There's a window that jarred on their conscience Once more, they've left remembering To the people who picked up their arms and their legs And carried on They pulled apart their own ego at the seams and spilled their organs everywhere Caught in polarised degrees so, they may decay again, so beware These are people too backwards to die out They may never escape from the rise, now They may never come back Crumbling still their little world rebuilt what couldn't be endured Now, there's nothing left to go to waste So sort it out with new perspective Reused and defected they challenged odds face to face Once more, their head had caved in and the past lingered nearby a locked door Once more, they had revisited something over and over and over again and carried on So after all these years they remained a form of art 'cus they had problems from the start Though they acted on a dare there's nothing stopping them, so beware These are people too fearless to die out, though they'll never escape from the rise, now.... This song was always be one of the most powerful statements ever. The simple idea of there being people who no matter what, despite how brutal it is and despite even if it is only marginally, if at all better. They picked their severed limbs and carried on. Even if they are asking if things have improved, they are at least safe where they can stop to think long enough to question it.

I've been subscribed for a few years, and I'd like to congratulate GHOST on how far they've come. I don't really want to get too gushy or emotional about it, but I do think I should say at least something. GHOST, your musical style has developed gorgeously, and the overall mood of your songs has changed in the best and most creative way. I can only imagine how much you've grown as a person over the last few years, as I look back at how you communicated with your fans back then and compare it to now, I really hope you've achieved a happier state of mind. You certainly seem to have gained wisdom and a bit of peace, and that makes me incredibly happy. So, congrats, you fantastic and funky music ghost. I'm so proud of your progress!
