Oh my! Gloria is looking resplendent in her robes. After singing the Christmas Coral "Gloria in excelsis Deo", as children, my Boys decreed that all Angels should be called Gloria; and thus it was! My first thought when I saw this was "It's Christine's tree topper." This is a stunning simple card. I'm still trying to get my holiday cards out the door. Nearly there. Just some notes to do and I can check that off my list. Yesterday's gin was from Slovenia. Saving it for a bit. I do have a recipe that I found using it BUT it calls for 3x what I have. I'm mulling it over. Time to get started on decorating my tree before I think it's too late.

I lookedd it up and all references to angels in the Bible are male. Usually, though, angels have no gender. Fantastic card. I love the gold.

These telemarketers these days are really persistent and quite rude (IMO), as they don't like to be told "no" or "I'm not interested," etc. Yes, I've had the same thing happen so many times wherein I've hung up on them, but they immediately call back. Even worse, they do it on our landline into our house (yes, we're old foggies and still have that! ). Being a landline, there isn't a nice button to block the caller. Yep, they try the same thing, with the, "oh, we were cut off!" Nope, I hung up on you as you're wasting my time! Take a hint and get lost! We're on the US's do not call list, and have been since it started. Not that anyone regards that! I don't pay for phone service for strangers to advertise their junk (products/services/whatever) to me.

Wow, this is so graceful and serene. (And easy!) I love how this came out and I enjoyed listening to the tale of the salesman - he clearly had no idea who he was dealing with, and you made short work of him. 🤣 Beautiful card! 🩷 PS: if it's not too much trouble on your end, can you turn captions back on for your videos? I have turned the volume up so I can hear you well without the captions, but then the commercials are very loud. (You used to have captions until very recently, so perhaps there's a reason you turned them off. If so, please disregard and I'll keep adjusting the volume.) 🩷
