I've taken lots of training in my 40 years of carrying firearms but nowhere did they ever cover this maneuver. I guess the thought was their training made one bulletproof. Thank you Reid. This one move is probably the most valuable move to know for actually increasing survivability and should be part of every training session.

Wow. I am honestly impressed with this video. Alot of good information on off hand firearm handling. You have a nice well tuned, and safe operation 100% of the time. I just wish I had my own range or good amount of privet land to practice this after a weeks worth of dry practice.

Thanks for the video Reid. One thing you did foget to mention is to keep your finger out of the trigger guard while racking the slide on your belt. Some new shooters may not fully understand safety rules.

Reid, taking rounds in an arm is not the only reason to learn and practice this. I had surgery last week on my left elbow and hand, so it is out of commission for a few weeks. Do you think I am not going to carry my 19?? Hell no. Luckily I practiced these techniques in some previous classes and practiced them again before my surgery. You may not have time to practice these if you break an arm skiing, etc. Good job and good luck on the ridge!

I just had a problem trying to figure out how to manipulate my firearm one handed! I slipped on black ice and broke my dominant arm in two places radius and ulna and I'm the first to say I could use a training class besides practice and my annual private security requalification which I just completed again with 92% but not hard considering very static rage firing off hand but wanting you to use right hand for support, shooting from kneeled position and from a form of cover but no movement! Back to the point I was completely confused on how to carry or draw with left hand! I did have a Ambidextrous Bladtech holster to carry on left side but carrying at least! I would like to come to take a class considering I'm in Virginia and only a few hours away! I looked at schedule and have most of the necessities but the lack of money in budget to pay for class! I really wish I could find the extra funds a 4 hour drive for a great experience and needed class would be great! Congrats on company and I am going to see what I can do about getting a class scheduled!
