I run through my method for determining gun wind number and how I calculate initial wind calls. This is a relatively simple method and it works great.

At 63, shooting PRS type matches for over 13 years, your video convinced me to finally switch to a MIL scope. Ordered a MIdas Tac 5-25x56 today. Pretty sure my 6.5x47, 145 Match Burner load is a 7 mph load and even my NRL22 CZ455 is a 10 mph load. Wy NRL Hunter match end of April will see it's first big match.

I'm just seeing this video. My 6.5x47 (140 ELD-M) is also a 7mph gun (new barrel so might be 6 when its breaks in)

change wind direction to 3 o'clock (180 degrees) and its way off. only works if the wind is in the direction when you do the math. (3:00 vs 9:00)

Do you have a video where you go over wind value based on the direction its coming from?

I can do that this week

Does this apply to moa too

Genius 😳🙌 so I’ve got a 3.5 mph rifle - spooky stuff! Wow mind blown 🤯. I’m MOA…😉

Is there a way to make this work with moa?
@TheKraft2 жыл бұрын
Yes there is. It sounds complex but it’s simple. Take range, cut it in half and move decimal two spots to left.. So 500y use 2.5 moa… 600 use 3moa.
