Gun Won't Fire in Starfield - BUG FIX

my problem is very different and i CANT find it anywhere. my ballistic guns shoot, and some even fire normally, but some like the grendel or the maelstrom BOTH shoot but no bullets release its so annoying and weird and i literally cannot for the life of me find a fix

I had this problem but i fixed it by going to the ship only to not being able to sit in the pilot seat as well (WTF Bugthesda it's been like a year fix your shit) anyway i got that fixed by pulling my gun out before trying to sit down and that solved that problem and after i was able to sit down i press exit ship and that slowed the shooting bug for me Can't tell if this is a consistent alternative fix but it worked this time.
