I'm using a Sinden Lightgun as it was the only thing available at the time when making my purchase. I don't dare to get the DIY-set for the GUN4IR as I'm terrible with that stuff, I fear I might break mine in the process.

I just got my Sinden guns and they work great. I had to set up Demulshooter and Autohotkey for a few games in my collection, but that's not hard.

Add a second set of IR sensors next to your existing sensors. It makes it work even better on large screen tv's.

Did you have to use a double set of leds for the 75” tv? Rpeg is telling me I need 2 sets and to doible them up for a 75”???

Great light gun demo. Those two guns were blazzing bullets brother. I love shooting games. I soon need to get a light gun and a gun game built to enjoy those games. If you can, let me know ( recommend) a budget friendly setup? Another impressive review

Thanks! Budget friendly is tough as these guns if you get them pre modded are very expensive retro shooters are definitely the more fairly priced option for light guns sinden would probably be next in line. If you're going to set up your own light gun setup you could go with batocera where sinden guns are plug and play so you can get into everything much easier there but you wouldn't have access to tecknoparrot which is definitely downside

@@OfficialChaseBrogan They are expensive. Now that you mention Batocera, I'm creating my own build without any launchers but it takes a long time to create. Rome was not built in a day my brother so I'll take it one day at a time. Someday I will own a light gun. Its on my list. I love technoparrot games especially Jurassic Park and the Alien games. I need those...Thanks!

Curious how these compare responsitivity-wise with Sindens? There’s a definite tiny lag on Sindens. Also there’s a tiny jiggle of the crosshair with Sindens- does this not suffer the same issue?

Looking at upgrading my light gun, currently have an Aimtrak. When taking in consideration the price, how does it compare to the much cheaper Retro Shooters?

Agreed. I haven't been to an arcade for 20 years at this point, and most of the ones in my area didn't have anything other than House of the Dead.

Excellent video, I’ve got a gaming pc and a 75” tv and want to get some light guns but don’t know wether to get the gun4ir or the retroshooter guns. How far do you have to stand from the 75” tv to get a good gameplay experience

Not far I'm only about 4 ft away but I use the fisheyes on the end which make a big difference on bigger screens. Both guns come with them included so you're good either way. Retroshooters are the more cost effective option.

Is the trigger softer or harder , same as the Nintendo Wii one? I have severe index finger issues so I am looking for a gun with a light trigger. Thanks!

They become available for very limited time. I would reach out to them and see if there's a waiting list or something. That's the trouble when you're modding retro light guns. There's no steady flow of inventory to use. You have to constantly be on the hunt for 24 year old guncons.
