Thus, despite saving the planet, it comes at a great cost and ultimately leads to somewhat of a hollow victory...
Oh, and that Demon that's been inside Ashley this whole time that's been feeding off negative emotions? It picks a fine time to get enough power to break free while we're at our lowest point.
