I started 2 years go, straight in with HG 1/44 Wing Zero as my tester to see if I enjoy it. The next 3 kits were the Thunderbolt ver. Atlas, Full Amor, and now Psycho Zaku II which imo are much more involved. All 1/144's If I can do it anyone can, even with the language barrier. Just need to be careful not to snap anything, and often I find the hands are too weak and pop off so I have enlisted the help of my friend.. super glue..obviously not on any ball-style joints though just to keep the hand closed and the huge weapon/shields on!

The zaku are great kits in both HG and MG (chars zaku) and that’s what I say, if I can do it almost everyone else can! I just thought it was quite cool they do a beginners kit.

Despite building a lot of Warhammer and historical games models, I'm weirdly intimidated by Gundam models. I'd be happy to see more!

If you like the building side of things these more border the same as thinks like scale airfix/revel/tamiya kits entry grade is perfect if you’re a bit unsure on where to start but would like too

Hg - High grade (1/144) scale is more posable (points of articulation) and more components which ads a greater level of detail Mg - Master grade (1/100) is the same but more and on a bigger scale - larger kits means more parts more detail more movement etc and then there’s Pg (perfect Grade) which I’ve never done but these are insanely detailed and posable. And have additional sub kits to put lights in them etc

@@teemu3370 you don’t have to paint, although I tend to with some of mine, especially when they have an internal frame with loads of detail.
