It would be interesting to see a breakdown/bts look on how you accomplish your weathering and customization techniques. Quite new to Gunpla myself and the customizing side of things is a bit harder to navigate when it comes to finding good educational or informative content.

I'd be interested to see some of these techniques in action, you say a lot of it is very basic but you're using a lot of stuff in conjunction that I have no experience with- runner washes, using watercolour pencils for weathering, stuff like that

Great painting and weathering job. I would apply some decals too. I have a fetish for decals. All my gunplas are full of decals.

Yeah different strokes for different folks! I had both sticker & decal sheets for this one and explicitly chose to apply none because I like the more "realistic" look for this mech. No real tank is plastered with 100x Katoki-style caution stickers, ya know? No hate, just a different, completely subjective view. I've decal'd up plenty of my Gunpla though 👍

@@JangMecha Yes. Gunpla is freedom. And also Seed is Freedom 😂 Jokes aside It would be a bit more realistic with few well placed decals. Some cautions and some EFF insignia would be great IMHO. Tanks are not covered in hundred of markings but a few ones they have. my2cents
