then there's also the theory of Aeolia Schenberg of not wanting humans to move into space without having to achieve peace and understanding first, which I believe is better than having to simply just move into space and forget the conflicts we had without ever trying to fix them first. Which then relates to the Laplace's box, the source of conflict in the UC era which if the world judges it, could lead to the peace, understanding and coexistence that every gundam series aims for.

In my opinion Gundam is an accurate prediction of humanity's future. Our reformation will be achieved by moving into outer space and expanding our understanding of the universe. By being raised in an environment without conflict that that and future generations will truly be able to live in peace. While Earth is humanity's birth place its history is far too diluted with bloodshed to be able to usher in a new era. The traditions and natures of humans born on earth prevent them from reforming.
