Gundog Training - Rabbit Shooting over Cocker Spaniels

It is time for my autumn visit to put Percy and Ted through their paces on the rabbits. This was only the second time I have been able to shoot rabbits over Percy and the little dog did me proud as did Mr. Reliable - Ted. I was a bit rusty on some of my handling but during the summer I had the chokes opened up on my gun and that has made a significant difference to my hit rate. Looking forward to getting out on the partridges and pheasants later in the month.

I live in the south eastern US and just got a cocker. Nobody hunts rabbit with anything except beagles here which is a completely different method all together. I would love to see videos on how to train them, start to finish!

Fantastic Percy and Ted, great cover and the Gun was pretty good, brought a huge smile to my face, thousands of miles away but same fun being had hunting the humble rabbit.
