Congratulations, an extraordinary video of the beautiful work of Labrador retrievers, but above all for the passion and love of these great adventure friends. My admiration for having started from the age of 12. The two colors are beautiful, black and Red fox, what an exciting job, thanks for sharing.

My experience is that u arnt supposed to show any affection to your sporting dogs as it makes u look weak in your social group & the dress code "identity politics " is ridiculous , but u mustnt b the "odd one out" within your nasty Tory social group 🙂

I lost Amelia, Winnie and Evie all within 3 years. That was 3 years ago and I still cant find peace with it. I have not hunted since. I dont know If I ever will. I cant bring myself to take another hunting dog under wing. I still break a few clays now and then. Every time I reach for my upland gun It hurts.

I lost my working dog.....gamekeepers springer x lurcher. Looked to be a pellet or a very small circular stick that pierced her lung. Went for a walk day after my grandad passed at 94.......this was when it happen, on a Sunday so I had to go to out of hours vets. I got a call, her lung had collapsed on the vets bench...she passed....they didn’t pursue looking any further to diagnose stick or pellet. This happened October just gone......like you it’s killing me, hard to not think about it all. I do have another dog who’s 11, but I still feel empty as I had such a close bond with her......I would love another hunting dog to watch....but I’m still very raw. I feel for you because it hurts deep.

I solo hunt ducks up here in Alaska, just me and my lab...I like to keep it simple using 2 jet sleds. The lab sits behind me in his sled and I layout in my sled, I use my lips to whistle handle the lab: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5vJoKaej7uZjpI I like the lab behind me so he does not have hearing ruined by muzzle blast: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4bEkGWAjc6srNE
