I was less than half of my age now. It was a great time. The cable TV was so very kicking. Watching it in the early mornings was like Buddhist meditation. I used to sing these songs at school, at college and at times at work too while I was still an undergraduate. No money or overwhelming material success/fame can get that era of fun and frolic back. I still feel like an indulge innocent teenager while watching these. I remember everything. My clothes, my vehicles, my books, my pets, my homes and what I was aspiring to do in the near future which has already become distant past. Nobody else cares about such senti memories. I do. I only had my music, my machines, my books and my pets. Respect for Limp Bizkit from country India.

All the tension in the world today All the little girls fillin' up the world today When the good comes to bad, the bad comes to good But I'mma live my life like I should (Like I should) Now all the critics wanna hit it, ya shit can how we did it Just because they don't get it But I'll stay fitted, new era committed Now this red cap gets a rap from these critics Do we always gotta cry Do we always gotta live inside a lie Life's just a blast that's movin' really fast You better stay on top or life will kick you in the ass Follow me into a solo Remember that kid, so what you wanna do And where you gonna run when you starin' down the cable of a mic Pointed at your grill like a gun Limp Bizkit is rockin' the set, it's like Russian Roulette When you're placin' your bet So don't be upset when you're broke and you're done Cause I'mma be the one till I jet I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me Now I know why you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately And now you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately Does anybody really know the secret Or the combination for this life and where they keep it It's kinda sad when you don't know the meanin' But everything happens for a reason I don't even know what I should say Cause I'm an idiot, a loser, microphone abuser I analyze every second I exist Beatin' up my mind every second with my fists And everybody wanna run Everybody wanna hide from the gun You can take that ride through this life if you want But you can't take the edge off the knife, no sir And now you want your money back But you're denied cause your brains fried from the sack And there ain't nothin' I can do Cause life is a lesson, you learn it when you're through I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately I know why you wanna hate me I know why you wanna hate me Now I know why you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately And now you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately Now I know why Now I know why you wanna hate me Now I know why you wanna hate me Now I know why you wanna hate me Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately Cause hate is all the world has even seen lately

1940s as a twenty years old gi fighting Hugo boss clad Germans . Then get back, go to college as a decorated war veteran. Get a degree. Put in a bit of effort in the work space, earn loads cause no one else is educated. Retire in Florida with your long white socks and die in the 90s before the world implodes and whilst still playing your favourite pastime : golf .

Finn Parrant sometimes people in a litany of mediocre productions have that one moment where they show up in their true form . This is that moment . A song and performance on stage that blows the competition out of the park . For that year this was a worldwide anthem . Too bad to be great you can’t do it just once no matter how brilliant that once was / is .

@@DastardSilvergun Because in a time where actual great nu metal bands existed, Limp Bizkit were instead getting the spotlight. Even though they are some of the worst and still are. And this is coming from someone that actually liked them back in their heyday, but cringe so hard at their songs now. They were never good.
@BucketOfSuck
@BucketOfSuck 4 жыл бұрын
@@DastardSilvergun Several reasons. Durst let his ego get out of control. The rap rock trend ended, pretty abruptly. And Wes Borland left for a while. LB has released a couple albums since then but their time just came and went. Sadly, rock itself seems to be dying and a whole host of talentless 'Lil' cough syrup drinking mumble rappers, autotuned pop singers and 'press play' djs have taken over. Even esteemed companies like Gibson and Fender are having financial trouble because it's a lot easier to make songs on a laptop than learn guitar. If rock doesnt find a hero, it will disappear forever.

It doesn't matter how old you were when this song came out …. It doesn't matter how old you are today listening to it now …. The only thing that matters is that it is an absolute banger of a tune and that will never change ….
