I just wanna give a huge thanks for Studio MAPPA for elevating Himeno's character for me. While I definitely felt some degree of sadness when I read this, the anime brought something even more. Through deliberately slower paced flashbacks, ost choices, subtle animation of the characters, superb voice acting, and so much more, this made me actually tear up. Anime and manga are two different mediums, each with strengths and weaknesses. MAPPA is utilizing the strengths of anime to their fullest potential. RIP Himeno 😭💔

As an Anime only watcher, I have a theory that Pochita as a dog wasn't his true form, I think it was like a disguise, if a chainsaw is feared by a lot of people then why would it look like a harmless dog? Compared to what Denji looks like. Also I feel like Makima is a fiend or something of some sort because her eyes have a strange design like Power. Or it could just be her character design as a whole.

By far my favourite episode. Mappa is just killing it , the animation , the extra scenes that are not in manga , the music , the Direction each and everything felt right to the point..... (sorry for my bad english) Yeah he looks Really good. Some few shots could get polished a bit better (probably they will fix it Blu-ray, it's not important tbh. The amount of things that they have to animate for each episode is a lot yet the Quality looks insane for a TV Show, it's because CSM had a great schedule) . But from The Character acting(body language) to action Animation, This episode was perfect.

16:52 : remember when Himeno explained how she lost her right eye 3 episodes ago. She lost her eye due to a contract with the ghost devil. And thanks to that contrat, she can use one of the arm of the ghost devil. Here it is the same but Himeno gave to her devil all of her body in order to save Aki and to kill the enemy

Yes Michael, this guy is somewhat like denji his name is katana man a half man and half devil and Did you notice something in the previous episodes makima stated that after the gun devil attack guns were banned in order to decrease the fear of guns among people and thus it will decrease the power of gun devil but this guys got the guns that means they might have a connection with gun devil because at this time in chainsaw man world the only being that can provide guns to yakuza is the gun devil , aki also mentioned this in the episode.... And I loved it that you notice that literally everyone wants denji's heart or you can chainsaw's heart. (I tried to explain a little bit without giving spoilers 😅 , hope it helps)
