Those who worry what future does Indian classical music and our musical heritage have, should consider watching this video (and others) by Rahul Deshpande. One small suggested correction: Unlike commonly understood, this lullaby was not written as being sung by Jijamata-ji to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but meant to have been sung by the Kula-Daivataas of Maharashtra to Baal Shivaji. Nonetheless, great job to the entire team, and special thanks to amazing keyboard player. Request exploring other songs from ShivKalyanRaja in the future.
