6.5 pounder on the ol pad crasher is always a good time! I know you probably get this question a lot but I’ve noticed in all your videos you grab in front of the reel with your right hand everytime you cast a frog, what’s the reason behind that is it habit or does it help with the cast?

I get my frog rods made with a fore grip on them. When I fish the river I fish tight to the bank and by grabbing the rod above the reel I shorten up the rod a bit. Helps to cast more accurately
