Do you find you get any false-positives with heavy rain/snow where its chiming in your house despite no vehicle approaching? I only ask because that was my previous experience with a driveway sensor my boss had.

YES. Lightning will set off the receiver in your house and ring the alarm. The receiver is sensitive to lighting. I don’t believe it is the sending unit.

@@devocracy1089 Its the EMP from the lighting setting off the sensor, water running over or around the sensor will also set it off. I have mine buried at the gate and on the lowest sensitivity. Also do the battery hack. no need to keep wasting money on CR123's
