Chinese Democracy was an album that largely appeals to new gnr fans (12 yo to 20) that werent around to hear Appetite/ Lies/ Illusion albums. Chinese Democracy has three or four good songs that sound like they belong with the rest of the GNR catalogue. Axl sounded lost a lot of the time with out Duff and Slash to accompany him.

Nah that’s bS, old GNR fans are like old dogs and can’t hear frequencies of songs above 8khz and won’t listen to anything unless they can say ‘I was welcome to the jungle man ‘ or ‘mr brownstone is about heroine’ over and over
