been watchin this kid since he was little....fell in love with his music and never fell out. Each year he amazes me more and more. What a God given talent and I am grateful for the videos he makes and for all who post them. Thank you Sungha and all posters. Wish I could see him in concert. As a pianist, I'd love to play with him. May he keep going and making that guitar sing.

I'd say he was probably certainly born with an aptitude for music but it was mostly practicing every day for years that got him to this level.

Anyone with talent was born with an aptitude for it, but if not God given, it won't matter how often you practice, you'd just be mediocre. I started playing at age 6 and kept the lessons going thru 17. By then practice was 3-4 hrs a day every day. During my junior yr of high school, I started playing for church, the school choir, and that years senior class baccalaureate service. By my sr yr, I was still doing all except my own baccalaureate and graduation....I started doing concerts as well and won a trip to England to play for the Royal family at 17. No way do I believe that this would have happened if not for a gift from God.

Guitar is not easy. I spent all 4 years of high school trying to learn and probably not even 1/100th the talent of Sungha. +RoniTiihonen if they're putting you down they are dicks. A lot of that is pride, or at least was for me for the first few years I played. You need to play with others in order to get better in most cases, it is a huge shortcut to getting better fast. Playing with someone who is much better than you means they can critique your playing and offer advice that will help you advance much quicker than just trying by yourself. You are hurting yourself by not playing with others.

This kid is freakin amazing, I've been listening to him since I don't freakin remember . Anyway, I went to a guitar center and thinking I will be able to copy Sungha if I buy a guitar. Once I got home I did some songs but not as good as this kid. In frustration after two days I returned my guitar to the store and the clerk asked me why I am returning my guitar that I just bought and I showed Sunha's KZbin videos, He replied, " I don't blame you, Dude…Here's you're money and spend it wisely"
