@TSE_WOODY when I decided I wanted a P bass I tried a USA one and a Mexican one and I honestly preferred the Mexican one! I just couldn’t tell where the extra ~£1000 was going. A MIM p bass with a few upgrades would probs still be cheaper than a USA model. I’m considering upgrading the tuners, not because there’s anything wrong with them (they’ve performed absolutely fine!), I just want some black tuners to match the bridge, pick guard and control knobs 😎 I think a set of hip shot tuners in black would set me back about £120-130 though - quite a lot of money to essentially get a different colour 😅

@@Longy_b That’s good advice I’ve seen a few people say the same thing, slightly nicer hardware for an extra £1k just isnt worth it. Black tuners would look sick but i feel like that is a lot lol
