Your sly smirk when the saxophone entered the scene said it all. Long live the 80s.

I've said it before, and I stand by it; Turbo-Neon Prefab Sprout. That's a compliment, Gunship are incredible.

I can definitely see some similarities to their 'Steve McQueen' album

The truth is that this band has been a pleasant surprise. A modern Synthwave band with all the influence of the 80s.

I love the audio analysis, but a recommendation for next time is for you to possibly do like a simple reaction at the start and then afterwards go into greater detail of the audio track and analysis after the simple reaction to the song. 😅I hope this helps :)

Literally called 'audio autopsy'

Thanks for the feedback. I like to put more focus on breaking down the music and meanings, which would be tough to do all at the very end, given the detail I try to go in to. I also don't want to be the same as every other reaction channel and whilst what I do may not be to the taste of everybody, it feels more satisfying to create.

Looking forward to it. Loved the last two albums.

"always about the damn girl" - sounds like an 80s movie reference, to me

You're literally reading the lyrics line by line. How have you not figured out that these statements are all call backs to former gunship tracks that were epic power ballads? Seriously they are practically listing former track titles or themes. How did you miss this while talking so openly about their former albums? There are many layers to this track, and I love every one of them!
