Thanks for sharing your insights sir. Just ordered a Midwest wrench 👍

#3 the open end of the MI wrench makes it easier when you are using a proper receiver extension jig to torque the castle nut. No need to place the wrench on before placing the RE into the jig. I'm also not biased because I live 20 minutes from MI.

the flat hammer head on MI wrench is handy when you need to drive in some pins.

Caleb, I'd like to hear your opinions on adjustable gas blocks. Pros & Cons, etc.

As an "young" builder myself. I really appreciate videos like this one and many of the others you do on Brownells going over many features on a lot of these tools and parts. Their are SO MANY options out there its hard to justify spending sometimes large amounts of dough on many of these products. I look forward to future videos.

Caleb.. The new Kung Fu grip instaleld ODG on my Griffin MK2 lower, with a ODg B5 stock.. feels and looks good and the angle is even more dramatically different from the B5! great advice and many thanx! i have both of those wrenches and they work perfect.

Is there a good AR admirers handbook or video series for gun smithing the AR platforms of all calibers? I really appreciate your videos and the information you and Steve put out on the Brownell's Channel. Keep doing what you're doing.

ask chris bartoucci @smallarmssolutions channel. he is MR. AR, and his books are a lot of info. Instructor Chad from SOTAR knows a lot too. literally all he does is ARs.

Grolsch (my all time fave beer) has a buit in cork. Being of latin descent, i do indulge in some mexican beers that require bottle openers. The edge of my snap on tool box works good but probably not as portable as an armorers wrench 😂😂

Hello from Young Harris GA. Caleb! You have the most educational and informative, not to mention entertaining videos out there in my "professional and highly educated" Hillbilly opinion! I strongly agree with your assessment that "Dimples are Cuter"! LOL! All jokes aside will either of the armorers wrenches you showcased here work for the "spanner nut" used in lieu of the "castle nut" on some of the earlier retro builds? Thanks Caleb!

Can you do a run down on the different options on AR upper holding devices? I need one for changing out muzzle devices. I want quality but extreme overkill is probably not cost effective.

Good knowledge, thanks for the insight into the armorer's bench. Is there any advantage to the castle nut wrenches with 4 lugs vs 3?

My favorite has to be the Midwest version, pairs well with their other builder tools. Unrelated, is the BRN-180 ever going to get a retro handguard? We got a stock but nothing for the front end.

I went through 2-3 other wrenches before I decided to go with Midwest industries. Best one so far. The Wheeler wrench was garbage but still better than the $20 all grey one(no name brand) long story short, go with Midwest.

Caleb that's Armorers handbook not Admirers Handbook although both words would be true. Dang spellcheck.

That's a good one! I bet all the women were hoping Caleb had written a book, with risqué photographs of himself included on ARs, until you clarified your question!
