This episode maintains the high dramatic level of the "Gunsmoke" radio series. William Conrad, as Marshall Matt Dillon, was always superb in his role. The well-written scripts, the sound effects, the pacing, and acting by the cast make this one for the ages. Thank you for taking the time for a brief summary of the plot along with the names of the cast. The fine audio made for an increased pleasure of listening. One error in the summary was crediting a "John Mester" rather than John Meston for writing the story.
