I remember back in the days before we had a TV, we would sit around the living room looking at the radio just like we do a TV today.

Conrad did have a great voice. I also enjoyed him on Cannon the TV detective drama.

Do you know who narrated the introduction to Adventures in Paradise the 1960's TV Series. Where would one obtain such info? The narrator's voice with the majestic music in the background was a great audio experience!

At the time, the radio show was on Saturday nights in a 25 minute "sustaining" format (no advertising, but plenty of PSA's and network promos). Incidentally, Frank Lovejoy's edition of the "SUSPENSE" story "On A Country Road" [1/4/54] was the second version the series produced- the first featured Cary Grant in November 1950, and yet another version was staged in May 1959 featuring Howard Duff and Ida Lupino....

Actually I'm Related To "William Conrad" He Has Family From "Porters Lake NovaScotia Canada". My Mother Often Told Me That He Was Related To Me From My Father's Side of The Family But As A Kid I Never Really Paid Any Attention To Him Growing Up As A Kids Until I Got Involved In Film Myself. I Have Been Trying To Get A Hold of His Son But That Was Like Trying To Hit The Moon With A Rock.
