Didn't realise this has 4m plus 2m any 70cm but only 5w on the latter 2 bands ?

Unfortunately mine is the version 3, so although in theory it should work 4m (70Mhz) it doesn't. All the other bands seem to work reasonably well. Apparently 4m works on the version 4. Thanks for watching 👍

@@m7frs272 ah ok yes I was looking at version 4 on aliexpress. I'm tempted but if it's only 5w on 2m and 70cm it's a no for me

i hav en idea what it is why your doing it or how any of it works but its cool as can be man ! all things radio tv wires antennas... put em togehtor there i am. so how close is this to a portbale zoom or skype transmitter ...sorry that's all i could think of for a refrence!? this is just so super cool please keep em coming.. ill watch em all!😁

Maybe I've been lucky, but mine has been OK so far. I quite like it to be honest. I have the external rotatary encoder/VFO on order so hopefully that will improve it further 👍🤞

Q900 is ok for a modest price not what they demand normally. With mine 2m never worked in tx. Rig always crashed when pushing ptt. Maybe they connected some coax cable to the wrong connector. But no circuit diagram available.
