my personal experience,if anyone wants to re-experience the 1990's hi-fidelity sound,find products with following components: 1.philips preamp ic+panasonic an series/sanyo stk series/philips tda series class ab amps.(the absolute no.1,perfect sound is that of philips passive and active components). 2.mitsubishi preamp+sanyo stk series class ab amps.(most of sony mini hi-fi's were powered by this and aiwa used this preamp).
