Yep. This boss has 5 attacks, but it almost never uses the laser beam and the bomb drop, and it only uses the AOE after it lands, so 80% of its life is spent spamming the same 2 attacks over and over. It’s a real bizarre choice.

It uses the latter two attacks more when it’s life gets low, but it tends to spam the mini spears and homing spears more. And it can only use the bomb drop while it’s at low health and also flying over the wall, so that move is somewhat rare thanks to it having that prerequisite.

What was really messed up was the bonfire. Nobody would find the bonfire behind that illusory wall normally. I certainly didn't and it made the runback unnecessarily annoying

I think I got lucky with this as I beat her first try. I was a bit overlevelled though, as my run was blind and I had already gotten as far as Tomb of the Giants, thinking that the 2nd bell was going to be down there. Getting there while underlevelled was ROUGH, but after that everything up until O&S was a breeze.

I asked my friend who is an expert on all things fromsoft, and apparently it occasionally happens that the butterfly will just give up and fly away. After 10-20 minutes it will just die and you win the fight; wouldn’t have been very good content for the stream though. To be clear this is a bug (not like a scripted a event), and while there are certain things that are known to cause it, sometimes it just happens for seemingly no reason.
