It is almost as if.. you wrote this song for my father. In late 2017 my dad told us that, when mom passed, his purpose was fulfilled. His reason for "thriving and living"... was gone. Mom passed in March of 2018. We spent Christmas 2018 at my sister's house... dad was there and we all got to visit with him. He got to see all of his grand-kids. Friday night Dec 28th, three days later, dad was in a hospital room was being helped up by the nurses....but at "just a few minutes" before midnight...as they were helping him to his feet... he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. With a full DNR order in place.. he slipped away from us. What ties me to this song now...and forever.... About 4 hours before he passed he was on the phone with my sister. I need to add.... dad was legally blinded by macular degeneration and could only see hazy distorted images. He swore to my sister.... that a woman came in his room.. and told him... "you are going home tomorrow". My sister called the nursing station that was just OUTSIDE his door. No one... had been in his room. No one. She called the admin office..... no orders had been submitted for his release from the hospital. There was no plan to release him. She told him that......and he again asserted.... the woman told him ... he was going home tomorrow. I am convinced...... that what he heard.... was his own "Voice of Midnight". This song.... will always have a deep meaning for me. Thank you for writing it.

Wow. Since my computer's slow, it took like, five minutes just for all the stupid talking to load. That's so dumb. Sorry dude, if I wanted to know about your inspiration for writing the song, THAT'S what I would've searched. I just want to hear the song. Great song, though.
