400-500km is normal for this car in single run even through mountains and hills ,i drove my gurkha bardoli to pune and back home to bardoli via nashik by pass to saputara is totally comfortable and it is a old school manual power machine its just not a car ITS A MACHINE

Me too is gurkha bs6 owner, i ve other cars too..but i must say...i do not like to drive other cars now...Gurkha is a feeling..that truly manly drive, you will not get any where. A real SUV with hard steel. Rest of the cars just plastic toys..by the way i have covered 21000 km in the last 3 months.. means my almost entire day times are in Gurkha. An Architect by profession, my entire travels are in this..covered entire south india mutliple times...safe and secure vehicle...a pure no nonsense beast...

Yes this one and older gen jeeps are the only true Suv. Sadly many other suvs incoporated plastic bumpers as a part of pedestrian safety enforced by government.
