Gurkha Movie - Beneath the Bravery | Behind the Scenes

In this episode, we go behind the scenes on the set of the highly anticipated featured film Gurkha Movie. Gurkha: Beneath the bravery is a charity project and all the crews and casts are working on a voluntary basis.
A group of filmmakers led by Writer/ Director Pradeep Shahi, here in an effort to make history by creating the first-ever feature-length biographical film about the Gurkhas. Over 200 years, their legend has been featured mostly as myths, but they believe that stories such as, of Sgt. Kulbir Thapa deserves to be told to a wider audience on the big screen.
They have pledged to donate all profits from the film to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, a remarkable organization that has been supporting struggling Gurkha veterans over 5 decades.
They are seeking your financial support of any amount you are willing to contribute or any other form of support that you think will help them.

It should be taken example from movies like 'inglorious bastard', 'saving private ryan', or '1917' etc... off course it needs a lot of money and specially to make a war movie it needs many actors who are very good in acting or otherwise it would be a jokes....Yes, off course we must do some fund raising, everyone must support this to show an example to the whole world as a tribute to our brave forefathers, yes we should share this as much as we can,.... my best wishes to Pradeep jyu & all team...

Great initiative for making this GURKHA warrior movie. I believe this will lift the spirit of Gorkha soldiers and also the people will come to know more about hardship and struggle of Gorkha soldiers. Uniforms and weapons used during the Battle of Loose by 3 RD Gurkhas have to be accurate...The three guys shown being interviewed in their uniforms looked rather absurd with their long hairs and Modern spectacle....The German Army shown in the Title, holds the Enfield rifle instead of German Karbiner and the Gurkha Soldier sporting different kind of Helmet.....

@@dyghub The aim should be to show the original name given by our ansister besides the new name given by English. The new generation in Nepal also needs to know the real history. And secondly, I do not know whats in the movie. But, I hope you guys have provided the proper back ground how Gurkhas word derived from Gorkhali. You know from so many year India using Gorkhali word. Even they started to use Indain Gorkhali misleading that Gorkhali are from India. Like since ages they are lying that Lord buddha was born in India. They are taking our Gorkhali fame also. Such a fu..king crazy country. After Sugauli treaty our 1/3 land was gone to East India Company England ( Today's Indai). So many Nepali land and people are in India now. One day we have to definitely take back. Gorkha and Gorkhali extended to Tista( East ) and Kangara (West). The real Gorkhali name and fame is from Gorkha district of Nepal. So this is how its name came to exist as Gorkhali( In the leadership of great King Prithivi Narayan Shah and people of that time). But now, Nepal is almost finish because of these cheap dirty politicians. I wish god will again send some one fast to protect our Nepal. There is no hope remaining now. So I think we have to concern globally. Not only from English point of view. I wish good luck for movie. Where ever you are protect our real Nepali culture and language.
