Very useful video mam . Mera ek question tha ki PED ke bare me company ko kaise pata chalega agar usne jhut bolkar policy liya hai aur agar sahi v bolker policy liya hai to company anakani nahi karega iska kya garranty hai.ase hi self declaration k tour per company believe karta hai ya apni tie up hospital se check up karta hai . Mujhe janna hai jab coustomer policy leta hai PED check up k liye company k doctors k samne pesh hona padta hai kya.

Hlw mam plz help. I have taken hdfc ergo optima secure policy for my parents both mom and dad under one plane through policybazar and I have disclosed each and every disease in proposal form after that hdfc ergo issues my policy with some counter offer but in my issued policy they didn’t mention pre existing diseases of my dad which I have mentioned in proposal form so I contacted them regarding and now they hold our policy and have us counter offer again is that any chance I can sue them for such a big mistake . Kudos to your team. But insurance company was right at first time. Even after explaining from hospital and your team they were not agreeing. This is not right. Ultimately they agreed due to pressure of Hp team. This shows sector is still not mature.

Agree... Insurance company is in fault in this..after the apology from hospital.. in this case they should be fine..as on the other part they are threatening the patient for the termination of policy..

Many times hospitals also get involved in the fraud claim ... So it's not easy for an insurance company to rely only based on the email if it's a mistake... Hence I think when it was given on stamp paper, the insurance company was ready to accept it so that in future if any problem arises then the insurance company can fight in the court of law to sue the hospital and insured

You have mentioned ask your hospital not to send short forms to avoid confusion & jisse apne ko samajhne me easy ho. But in forms we just only need to tick in the correct box, right? Also, when the Insurance desk forward the form to the Co, are we given a duplicate copy of the filled up form along with documents annexed for our records before forwarding for claim?

Star health ke claim reject kar diya ye bolke aapko hospitalised hone ki jarurat nahi thi aap OPD me bhi thik ho sakte the hospital ke doctor ka justification bhi diya par nahi mana star health me chor hai 1 lakh apni paas se Dena pada yahi hal h insurance company ka jab hoti h claim paas nahi karti

Niva Bupa ne bhi mera bhi claim reject kar diya , ki Hospital admit hone ki jarurat nahi thi opd mein treatment ho sakt tha par patient condition was very critical thi High fever with continue vomiting, dcoter ka certificate bhi de diya hai par niva bhupa nahi man rahi hai. Or niva bupa mein koi ahi sunta hai or koi help nahi karege, ye claim reject karte hai profit badne ke liye
