The third season will carry forward from the tragic end when Guddu (Ali Fazal) killed Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu) and Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) allied with Sharad (Anjumm Shharma). This will unfold new power dynamics as each character strives for dominance in Mirzapur. Other key characters like Beena (Rasika Dugal), Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Shatrughan (Vijay Varma) are in contention for control leading to intense confrontations. Produced by Excel Entertainment.
Tripathi is an Indian actress popularly known for the character of Golu Gupta in Mirzapur. She began her film career as a production assistant and associate director and gained wider recognition and accolades for her acting performances in the Hindi film industry and web series. Notable films include Masaan (2015) and Haraamkhor (2017).
Shharma is an actor whose background is rooted in theatre. He has been a part of diverse projects including the Oscar Winner film Slumdog Millionaire, sharing screen space with Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan in Wazir, Made in Heaven, Sultan of Delhi amongst others.
Singh has since directed, produced, and written several films. In 2013, he made his directorial debut with Warning (2013), India's first 3D underwater movie. He also co-produced and directed episodes for two seasons of Inside Edge (2017), an Amazon Prime series nominated for the Emmys. Singh also drafted the story of Mubarakan (2017), starring Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Arjun Kapoor, and Athiya Shetty. Directed episodes of Mirzapur (2018) for three seasons. His most recent directorial project was Phone Bhoot (2022), starring Ishaan Khattar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Katrina Kaif.
