You're right about investing early but the ones I watch videos on youtube like Ankur Warikoo and Raj shamani etc are always says two things: 1. Invest in yourself first for upskilling which is 100% going to give better returns than any other investments as our mind is our greatest asset. 2. Most important thing is to make emergency funds first. Great collaboration. I will try my best to meet you both in person whenever I'll be in Canada.

I have a question for Indians. I'm a recruiter with 20 years of experience in Canada, a lot of Indians reach out to me for help but when I tell them A) Your resume needs A LOT of work; Resume writing is different here than in India B) Your LINKEDIN needs a looooooooooooot of work. They don't even ask how much, they disappear. 2 years later, they send me another message asking for help. I said, why did you disappear and what have you done in two years? nothing. What kind of attitude is this? do not be cheap, investing in your resume, LinkedIn, and cover letter with someone who has experience is an investment on YOURSELF! Don't be cheap. Also, when you come to a new country, why not pay someone a consultation fee to help you pave a path forward for you, to draw a line from Point A, to Point B. Isn't this better than struggling for 2, 3 years?
