Intellectual right only eligible to story writer, dialogue writer, lyricist, music composer, dance choreographer, stunt master & off course screenplay director! But only highlighted element that allowed in marketing clauses.. Which always happened in movie promotion tv shows, interviews, filmfare shows, radio shows... Which considered as trailer or Sneak peak...that will attract viewer to search & view such movies in commercialized.. But such production right only valid for certain periods only! Normally 10-15years! Then it becomes open sources, & can be used by anyone, but not for commercial & profit oriented! So now this nayantara wedding footage is going commercial or not? Plus it's advertised by multinational companies like Netflix , Disney & Amazon primes! So the issue should be between wonder bar & those MNC broadcasters! Not between Dhanush & nayantara whom already sold her own rights to those foreign channels! Either nayantara is indirectly promoting this through negative publicity, or those channels canceled the commercial rights of nayantara until the dispute solve, which forced nayantara to be grieve against Dhanush! This is basic of cinema copyright, that well known actress like nayan should know! Dharmic or legal. If all the participants in a film didnt take salary and just a percentage of revenue, then every artists have right over whatever they did in the movie. But all of them were paid for the work. The rights over their work has been bought by the producer (unless specified otherwise in contracts).
